Matching breath to movement, Vinyasa Flow will take you through a creatively designed sequence to increase strength, flexibility and endurance, helping to release any tension held in the body. Using smart alignment cues, a sprinkling of philosophy and a soulful playlist, I create an immersive experience for my students to leave feeling refreshed and reconnected. Modifications are given so the practice is accessible to all levels.
In modern society, and especially in NYC, it’s easy to become anxious, stressed or exhausted. Restorative yoga is just the cure! Influenced by my trainings with Judith Hanson Lasater and her Relax and Renew program, my classes are designed to help the student completely relax and rejuvenate. This class uses props and poses held for several minutes to allow complete surrendering of the muscles and mind.
This class begins with a gentle yoga sequence to release stress and tension in the body. Progressing from movement to stillness, this practice ends with Yoga Nidra, a unique guided meditation used to calm the nervous system and reduce a number of issues we deal with in modern society including anxiety, insomnia and depression. If you are looking to release physical and emotional blocks soothing the mind and body, this practice is just for you.
